IT Chapter 2

IT Chapter 2 is the follow up to the 2017 smash hit IT, with Andy Muschetti directing again. Based 27 years after the first one, it follows the grown-up losers club as they return to Derry to finish Pennywise once and for all. Featuring the talent of Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, and New Zealand’s own Jay Ryan, as the adult versions of the kids.

The film overly was amazing, from the special effects and the horrific jumpscares.

If you pay close attention to film Easter eggs, there are several nods to other horrors, the shining and The thing being among them. Even Stephen King pulls a Stan Lee in one scene.

I really enjoyed it but I will say this, it was a bit long for my liking but I think it was to make sure it stayed as true to the book as Mushchetti could get it to be.
