In the Southern hemisphere, January means summer holidays which is a great excuse for starting a summer hobby project. I do this most years to try and use all that extra time I have and funnel it into my hobbies. Most years I start something big and fail miserably, normally more due to family commitments rather than my straight out laziness.
This year, however, I’m not doing one big project, rather I’m doing a whole lot of stuff at once. Crazy right? Well at least this way, with no defined completion I can’t actually fail, can I?
I have of course my Fallout humans to paint (boring), my MDF buildings purchased primarily for Fallout to build and paint, my Guild Ball starter set of finish and of course, my new Doom board game figures to paint.
Guild Ball is easy, just three small pieces to finish, two of which are balls. These WILL get done, and soon. But my main focus other than slowly building MDF buildings is to get my DOOM figures painted. There are a few of them, but we’ll see.
So rather than post updates on the website every day, I’ll probably do most of my updating via Instagram as it’s quick and easy to snap a photo and put it online.
